Karen Borg
Karen Borg is CHSRC's Educational Director, founding member, and most beloved science teacher. Her love and passion for her students, for science, and her desire to be innovative and continuously improve her classes, has benefited and blessed the hundreds of homeschooling students she has taught since Covenant’s inception.

Karen enjoys nature and spending time in the great outdoors.
Kris Carnes
Kris began working at CHSRC in 2017 after finishing homeschooling her three boys through high school. She enjoys assisting customers and encouraging and equipping families for a successful homeschool journey.

During her homeschool career, Kris has taught many IEW, literature, Apologia science, and culinary classes in a co-op setting. We are happy to have her as our resident IEW expert.

HOBBIES:
Drinking coffee and playing with her grandbabies.
Janet Forte
Janet started volunteering one day a week at CHSRC in 2004. By 2006 she added Spanish teacher to her resume. After her youngest daughter graduated high school, in 2012, Janet became CHSRC's manager. She currently holds the title of Executive Director.

During Janet’s homeschool journey, she homeschooled both of her daughters from preschool through high school.
FAVORITE CURRICULUM:
Elementary Abeka Math, MasterBooks, Notgrass, American Literature by James Stobaugh, and Picturing America.

HOBBIES:
Janet enjoys taking her dogs for walks, going to Peru, and reading.
